- Time in the studio

A new car is the easiest car to protect. The paint hasn't been through a car wash yet, the wheels haven't baked on brake dust, and the seats haven't met a spilled coffee.
We coat the whole car in one go, so everything is protected from the start and you only give up the car once.
What’s included
- Single-step paint correction before coating
- Paint: Gtechniq C1 Crystal Lacquer or Crystal Serum Light (5 years), or Crystal Serum Ultra (9 years)
- EXOv5 top coat over the paint coating for extra water-beading
- Wheel faces: C5 Wheel Armour
- All glass: G1 ClearVision
- Full interior (fabric, leather and dash): I1 Smart Fabric and L1 Leather Guard
Two packages
Both packages cover the same parts of the car. The difference is the paint coating, and how long it's warranted for. On the 5-year package we choose between C1 and Crystal Serum Light to suit your paint. Matte and satin paint can only take C1, so those cars go on the 5-year package.

9-year package

How we do it
Wash and decontaminate
A full wash and decontamination to strip everything off the surface the coating needs to bond to.
Paint correct and prepare
We inspect the paint under studio lights and give it a single-step paint correction, included in the price, so the coating goes onto clean, refined paint.
Coat
Coatings are applied panel by panel, the way Gtechniq trains its accredited installers to do it.
Cure indoors
The car stays inside while the coatings cure, away from rain, dust and dew.
A coating makes paint harder to scratch when washing and much easier to keep clean, but it won't stop stone chips. That needs paint protection film.
Questions
Can I bring the car straight from the dealer?
Yes, that's the best time. Book a date close to delivery and bring it here before it's been through its first few weeks of driving.
Do you need the car for the whole two days?
Yes. The coatings need to cure indoors before the car goes back out, so plan for two days without it.
Should I say no to the dealer's protection pack?
That's your call. Ask the dealer what product they use and what the warranty actually covers, then compare it with what's listed on this page.
